I recently put RAM in my computer and on the RAM it said it had latency of 8-8-8-24. When i looked in the bios and on cpuz it said that it was running at 9-9-9-24. Unfortunately i did make the mistake of buying RAM at 1600mhz when my motherboard will only support upto 1333mhz. It still works but runs at 1333mhz.
I was wondering is the reason it is not at the correct latency because it is not running at the 1600mhz it was supposed to be?

The RAM is Corsair Dominator 2x2GB
i believe the part number is CMD4GX3M2A1600C8
motherboard gigabyte p55m-ud2
