No, it's a program that is used for students to take a test after they have read a book.
I am having problems with it.

I think I figured out the problem
We have both 98 and 2K pulling off a 98 server.

The 2K is locking up the files.

Are you getting any error messages? What version are you using? Check here first and see if there is anything that can help:

kind of an interesting situation when youre mandated a test taking method that doesn't
work.. maybe that IS the test..?

Indeed. But a question: Why is the "server" running Windows 98? Have you checked for spyware/viruses, etc? Can you ping the server?

I have run into problems with other software in the past running a new windows version on a client and an old OS version on the server. It creates compatability issues. your server should be upgraded to the 2k.
