I have been troubleshooting this winxp sp2 pc all day. It will not boot to XP, does the eMachines logo on boot then black screen. Tried Last Known Good Config. and Safe Mode. BIOS shows HDD fine. Thing too is that every, maybe 1 out of 10 times, it will boot to either Safe Mode and Windows. Chkdsk has ran fine. Also it will not finish out when you try to boot to a CD of XP or 2k for that matter. Both get to Startiing Windows and seem to freeze up. I have checked all BIOS settings and all seems fine there.
