suddenly my system (win2k) refuses to visit certain sites like
www.microsoft.com and www.multikabel.nl, others are no problem.
In the addressbar these addresses are translated as follows:
http:///?%20www.microsoft.nl and
http:///?%20www.multikabel.nl
I checked with about 5 programs for adware etc. In my registry I can not find any clou, even when I take in account that %20 means a space. I tried to insert http:// in fornt of it, no result. Even stranger is the fact that when I use the IP addresses of these site, the exact same problem occurs. I can here you think, that must be the DNS server. But a second machine on the same network, via the same router, has no problem at all!!!
Please give me a hint (not just say, reinstall win2k)
