I downloaded a Windows Update recently. For some reason, it wants me to Shut Down ( not Restart) my computer, and it will install whatever this is when I turn it on again.
I dont think this has ever happened before. Is there any way to find out what is this before I install it?

Dosn't it tell you when you click on the update icon and go custom or advance install
if not right click on mycomputer go /properties /windows updates and turn it off ,then go to IE whatever version you use, and go tools, and windows updates, and do a custom search for updates ,should tell you then , it may be Service pack 3
