This is not browser related because it happens in every browser.
(IE,FireFox 3.0,Safari,Oprah,SeaMonkey,Netscape)


Some web sites such as one of my banks and Comcast will let me log in but then when I try to submit a secure form or click a link to more account details I get an error ( after a long pause ) that the "connection to the server was dropped".

I have a second computer on the network accessed via a KVM switch and I do not have this problem. Both computers run Win2k SP4. Most of these pages seem to be using Microsoft servers because the extension is typically .aspx .

I used a utility to clean off .net and re-installed fresh download but had no effect on the problem.

I have no clue what to look for to fix this error.
