I recently wiped my laptop hd clean and reloaded windows xp pro. when I reloaded windows update and got the downloads there were about 14 or so but no (0) bits of info on any one of them. But, suggested installing them, did so and got error message
(0x80072EE2). I've tried to follow all answers to resolve from MSoft but still no files in any of the downloaded ones. any ideas?

Has your PC downloaded and installed any kind of windows verification file as yet. Are you doing manual updates? If you have done nothing else with your PC try reformatting and do a fresh install of windows again. If you have loaded all your other programmes, just try a windows repair.
