Ok i know you guys probebly get 10000 of these a day and i was reading threw all the post before me. and ive noticed none of these are the same problem as mine.
When XP starts it doesnt load the explorer.exe [desktop]
I ctr alt del it and it starts for about a seconds [explorer.exe not the desktop] then it turns off.
SAME PROBLEM for msconfig.
No virus in the current view registry either.
All this started after i installed AIM
on aim when i would try and talk to someone the msg screen would come up but no words or anything that i or they were typing
then Dw debugger went haywire
ran about 500 processes.
I deleted drwt so i could atleast run stuff from the task manager.
when i would try to run explorer.exe Iexplorer.exe would try to start.
I can get ie back so i deleted that to and still nothing.
I am able to navigate my way onto other programs
aka firefox and games like wow and stuff but i would like my desktop to come back lol...
Please help in anyway
