I am having sata hard disk i want to install windows 2000 profesional sp4 when in the part ion i want 205 gb for c drive when i give its not taking its taking only 5 digits only why and i install windows xp in d drive and i want 2000 sp4 operating system in c drive means dual operating if in install 2000 sp4 means the xp operating system in d drive it will go or no i want with out Los data how can i install it please tell me .

Jump to PostWindows 2000 is too old and is not supported anymore. I very much doubt you will find any SATA drivers that will work with it.

you can install it in same drive. when you are installing win200 you have to choose drive first then you have to use option with (no change) then it install without formatting your hard drive.
