I have windows xp ultimate and I had received a virus in some part of my operating system. So I deleted it. Now my computer will not start up. Goes to the safe mode selection screen. And that is it. How do I fix this problem?

I tried that and it still goes to the same menu.

Maybe you should try reinstalling the OS? Maybe you deleted something out of the system..
