Quick update for anyone landing here later: Windows 7 did receive a single service pack, SP1, released in 2011. You can still download the offline installer from Microsoft: see Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 (KB976932) on the Microsoft Download Center . To check if SP1 is already installed, press Win+R, type winver, or run the command below. If you see Build 7601, SP1 is installed.

Nope. Service Pack 2 is out for Vista but there is not anything for Windows 7. Just regular system updates.

No SP for windows 7,,, then on 2012 or 2013 i guess, the microsoft will release the new windows 8...
