I cannot get meditech (a hospital dictation system) to work properly.
I recieve the message cts-time out 04E0h every time I try to connect. I am using Windows XP home edition. Evidently this problem has occured before with windows XP. It was working fine, but then I installed a program called Perfect Pro Office (sort of like Word) and it has its own security program. Then meditech would not connec. Got the above error message. I uninstaleld the Perfect Pro software, but it meditech still will not work. My modem works for other programs, such as faxing, but not for Meditech anymore.
