Is there any possible way of setting your own custom shortcut hotkeys for the system in windows XP, for example, the "windows key" + "R" opens the "Run" program and "windows key" + "E" opens windows explorer. Is there any way that you can set your own ?

Well, a simple way you can do it is by maing a shortcut to the program, right clicking on it. go to propeties. And change the shortcut key. Is that what you want to do?

A neat program to help manage your hotkeys easily is called 'hotkey helper'. it minimizes to the system tray, and doesn't take up much memory. and you can set almost any key combination to anything.

yes that worked, thanks a lot for that...Properties of a shortcut and setting a shortcut key from there. :)
