i m trying with DOS commands. the command 'msg' works very well in windows xp. but when i tried the same in windows 7, it gives an error. can anybody please tell me why does this happens? is there any alternative command for it? or how can we display a msgbox in windows 7? please help me....

what error message did it give you .go to start ,type in cmd /right click on the cmd icon an chose run as administrator '
im using win 7 and i think it worked for me,i say think because i don't use this command and not sure if this is what you want it to do , see image

it displays the error that
'msg' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.
i m using windows 7 home basic 64-bits.
please help me....

sounds like its not avaible in win7 home basics
