If I look at what your lappie have, yes, it will be more than ample to handle win 7 ultimate, even though it is discontinued. :)

Technology type : Intel® Centrino® Duo Mobile Technology featuring Intel® Core™2 Duo processor T7600, Intel® PRO/Wireless 3945ABG network connection and Intel® 945PM Express chipset
clock speed : 2.33 GHz
Front Side Bus : 667 MHz
2nd level cache : 4 MB
Operating System / Platform
Genuine Windows® XP Media Center Edition

System memory standard : 2,048 (1,024+1,024) MB
maximum expandability : 4,096 MB
technology : DDR2 RAM (533 MHz)
Hard disk capacity : 320 (160 + 160) GB
certification : S.M.A.R.T.
drive rotation : 5,400 rpm

Intel® Virtualization Technology (VT-x) and Intel® 64 - supported by that CPU...nice! I'd expand on the memory up to 4 GB and run Win 7 - 64bit.

Thanks guys for your replies, but still i have issues. I ran 'Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor' from Microsoft site, and it was not able to find the drivers of few devices like,

1-Bluetooth ACPI from Toshiba
2-PCIxx2 Integrated flash media controller
3-Sigmatel High Definition Codec

I tried searching online for these drivers, and some site are offering drivers pack for like 30$. I dont know whether to go for it or what. Might you guys help. Thanks again
