insert tracks into an mp3

I've got a 58 minute mp3 file and I'd like to burn it to an audio CD with multible tracks. Right now it's just one big file. Any dieas?

over the years i have used cool edit pro .not free but did it for me .

You need a video converter to chop up the song into 3 or 4 mins each length, i use wondershare video converter to chop up music and turn them into 30 second ringtones.

Audacity is free and open source, and it is available on multiple platorms. You do not need a video converter for mp3 files. You can load the file into Audacity and export each section as a separate mp3 file. I suggest you make a copy of your original file and play with the copy. It's easy to make an irreversible mistake when getting used to an unfamiliar application.
