Hi All,

I bought a new system with the following configurations

Pentium D 2.66 Ghz
Intel D102 GGC2
250 GB HD(segate).
DDR2 512 MB RAM

I try to install Windows XP with SP2.....I did the partion and it copies the files after that the system Restarted and it shows the following error

Here's my idea:

This error seems to be related to a hardware problem:
Most sources refer to damaged start files (i.e NTLDR) or alike, some mention defective RAM chips. I believe in the start file version, it can be fixed by a Windows XP repair installation on other computers. Your computer is new and I understand you never had Windows installed before on it? Then nothing usual (pulling the plug...) could have happened to damage these files and something may be wrong with your hard disk / the HDD-cable / the controller (Mainboard).

Guess you have to burn it on a bootable CD/DVD first.
