Installing windows xp

hey can somebody plese help me
my problem is that i need to install windows xp on me other computer i lost my recovery and i only have a windows xp disc that i bought from a store. i formatted my hardrive and copied all of my files but when it restarts the computer automatically after copyignt he files it just stays on a blank screen:(:( can someone plz help me out i need this computer working asap

in this situation i'd recommend to use backup software with Universal restore feature. This ll let to backup ur OS
to the any removable disk (say DVD/CD or USB flash drive) and restore
avoiding drivers problem.
so,i think that is quite optimistic way of migrating ur Xp to another HD.
