Re: my orignal post titled 'Win XP: Mouse and Keyboard frozen after startup' of Oct 5th 2006 7:50 am I managed to get a XP Repair/install dick from my mate but following all the advise I have read online so far I cannot get any further.
When I boot from the CD and hit return at the 'welcome to setup Windows XP now' screen and then accept the user agreement etc I do not have the 'R' option to repair window at this stage.

I am starting to doubt that I will ever fix this and may have to bite the bullet and do a complete re-install.:mad:
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
