I am getting a non-intrusive error message after installing the Microsoft Fingerprint Reader. I am working with a volunteer Fire Dept. and they wanted to track internet usage so they purchased a MS Fingerprint reader. Currently we have 20 limited user Id's installed and when a user logs into their account they get an error message box the reads: "Lookup PNP" you click ok it comes back about 10 times then goes away. If you ignored the message you can use your profile as if nothing happen. But the error message stays on the screen until you go thru the clicking ok 10 times. Any idea what has caused this or if there is a fix?? Of course Microsoft offers no help, imagine that!!
I uninstalled the application and the error message went away. Did a fresh install and the message is there. Thanks for any suggestions you can offer.
