I have an issue where I am being asked to report on affected users when there is an issue with a server or hosted applications.
E.g. If an application server hosting appA unexpectedly restarts I need to be able to report on how many users were connected at the time.
There are different amounts of users connected at different times and day so the report may need to be run hourly inorder to provide accurate reports.
Is there any application/tool that anyone has used or is using to do a similar sort of thing?
I have though about using the "at" command to export the "net session" to a text file but im sure there is a better way.
