I've searched through as many threads as I can here before posting, but I'm afraid my browser will crash before I can find something to help.

I'm running Windows 2000 and IE 6. My internet connection(dial up) is working fine, as I'm not having any problems with my laptop. When I log on, usually it works for a little while, though certain pages wont load. Then after a few hours it'll get so that nothing will load at all. I restart the comp and it still wont work. I keep getting the "cannot find server" page. When I checked the properties of that page I got:

res://C:\WINNT\System32\shdoclc.dll/dnserror.htm#http://www.google.com/

I tried running Firefox instead, and it wont work either.

It's tax time. Your ISP may be in meltdown mode.

Also check for spyware and viruses.
