My Blackberry desktop software is corrupted I need to remove it and reinstall it.

When I go to the add and remove screen and attempt to remove I get an error message

'action is only valid for products that are currently installed'

When I attempt to reinstall I get a message that it is currently installed

Does anyone have a clue how I can remove it?

You could find the software by trailing through your HDD, and delete the folder relating to it.
My Computer -> HDD (usually C: ) -> Program Files -> maker of the software in it's own folder.
Then delete the contents of that folder, or inside the folder, look for a program which says "Uninstall" or words to that effect, then try to run that, it should then get rid of the software for you to reinstall it.

Does the blackberry desktop software have its own un-install program?
