Hello all,
I am experiencing a similar problem as some and i am trying to avoid the format to correct i do have norton internet securities and just wondering what options i have. i have tried the windows worms doors cleaner and did not correct, then i tried to search for the svchost.exe in the registry and found nothing that appeared to be unknown. If anyone has any other suggestions that i can try the info will sure be appreciated. Thanks.

I am running an amd athlon 64 X2 6000+ am2 socket 940
i am running 2 gigs of PC2-6400 corsair xms dominator
on a shuttle SN68S V10
