We have a rather strange problem here:
There are two networked computers in operation here, that do not seems to be able to connect to the intranet/internet.
When we check the computers via the sccm, the table column serial says "To Be Filled In By O.E.M".
i've done some research into that errror message, but i either get something about the W7-OPK or some guide to change the oeminfo.ini, but that only contains some basic information (manufacturer, oem logo etc.)
have you tried using DOS ping to see if the computers actually exist! I have found simliliar problems where the windows ( or networking) software is not doing what it should. At least if you get a ming response you will know that it is the software and not the hardware. If no response from ping then it is likely to be an electric, cable or connection fault.
