hi everyone this is my very first post...well the problem is that i've been using a pc with a static ip 219.91.207.78 and default gateway as 219.91.207.1 and i bought a new laptop recently. When i try to connect using the same addresses in my laptop it doesn't seem to connect :sad: i've tried pinging the ipaddress and gateway. ipadress is fine but pinging the gateway resulted in "OPERATION TIMED OUT" something like that....what is the problem? please help me

Sorry if I misunderstood, but are you saying that your laptop and PC have the same IP? Or is your pc no longer on the network?

i mean i disconnect the cable to the system and connect it to the laptop havin the same ipaddress...it worked at first...now it aint working....
