I wonder where that file is at. For example on Dropbox that file could be in their cloud but when I connect I can view it when offline.
You may wish to copy that file while online to some folder of your choice.

In short, there is no manual and if there was this would be specific to your model and version OS. Since Android had no less than 10 versions and some hundred plus makers the only constant is there is no consistancy. At the office I work on our Android apps and we can not, can never tell our clients if our app works on a phone we haven't tested. We have to write "it should."
This can really upset folk that are used to fully documented systems. With Android, fragmentation and more means you have to either chuck it or dive in and figure it out. I can hear you screaming "how did this happen?"
This is NLP or natual language processing. If I had to do this I'd head to http://compromise.cool/ and use the .people() function.
"I am not assured that every state uses the same class of printer."
That's what your IT has to solve with a consistant way to resolve what printer to send to. Think over how they print now. They must know the printer name so maybe this is something you ask for in your script. Or you stump for a standard across the system for a default printer in some environment variable for scripts to use when called. Note: https://docs.oracle.com/cd/E19683-01/806-7612/customize-8/index.html
You wrote lpr but what printer? Read https://docs.oracle.com/cd/E19109-01/tsolaris8/817-0879/6mgl9vnga/index.html
From your reply, all that is possible once you set up your database server on your network or even the Internet. All that you need to know is not going to be in my reply unless I note web content.
Admit you are just starting out and take a few classes on SQL administration and if you are paying attention then it will start to make sense.
That is, your database server (not a file!) is on some server then your app connects to that and you allow, or not, changes per your SQL rules and your code.
PS: Can't go to school? Get started with web content like this: https://www.google.com/search?q=your+first+vb.net+mysql+project
I think you need to explain something about your SQL server. Are you putting a SQL server and database on each machine or something else?
@OP. If you think everyone wants to steal the ideas and code then you may fall into that trap where you never produce apps. I've seen this happen where a person has an idea but is stuck. As I've published many apps and designs over the years I offer to chat about it and they clam up or won't show their app to anyone.
Did you google up "Bob's Game"? It's a different sort of developer's hell but getting stuck on "everyone is going to rip off my ideas" is a common way to never get your app out the door and into the world. I've seen this happen numerous times.
-> The next trap is searching for the "best" code protection. The app is delayed as the author tries more and more protection schemes. Each time they dicover it's not 100% secure so they are trapped in a never ending cycle and never publish . Also they burn up their productive hours on this rather than getting that great idea, code and app out the door.
I don't need them. My apps are very specific in use so I don't bother setting up those tools. But companies that have registration systems, payment systems and such would want that. Also, folk that believe their app is "the next big thing."
Ever read about "Bob's Game?"
Let's say you think obfustication works. Why would it be outdated if it works? Humans still use wheels and how old is that idea and how old are documents about wheels?
gentlemedia is right. https://caniuse.com/#feat=input-datetime
Thanks for asking. I didn't know this.
Yes that's odd. Why would you want the statistical value to change? Most math gives us the result but you ask how to change the result.
If you want a certain answer, forget math and just set the answer as you wish.
Thanks for the code dump. This seems to have cleared up that the issue is not how to test at all but that your real issue is you have some site that was made without an API or design document and now you need to do that.
I'd restate your question. Maybe start a discussion with the real question.
Something doesn't jive. That is, how could you develop an API and then not have the API?
Maybe something wasn't told. Such as "I have this website and now I want an Android app but need to create the API and documentation for the programmers." That would explain a great deal.
My question is why must it be soapui? Testing is usually planned in advance for the project.
I can't guess why you were downvoted at https://stackoverflow.com/questions/52684277/is-it-possible-to-test-non-wsdl-soap-server-with-soapui-or-postman Maybe they expect folk to dig into the work?
https://www.soapui.org/ tells me this is not a compete question. Maybe you need a Soapui member on your team?
Since I don't have the database the only thing that I thought of is if a file is found in lines 2 to 10 that does not exist in your database, what happens?
Good luck in your cable business but moving on.
Let's hear more about this USB drive. You and I will encounter failed USB sticks, SD cards and more that do this. You omitted details so let's here more.
I can't see how that differs. If replication is really working and you have your procedures for all the functions you must do, how would it differ?
Please read https://www.brentozar.com/archive/2015/10/alwayson-ag-databases-need-bigger-log-files/ first.
In the discussion they note some tool to offload the logs. If you just backup, that's not going to affect the log size, will it?
As to GPU card brand, Tomshardware has compared makes and the usual result is sub percent differences.
I caught a sale on the EVGA 1050 Ti but haven't got around to installing it. Maybe soon.
The clock rate is not the data rate for RAM today. In short the Frequency of 798 MHz is fine for DDR (double data rate) since it uses both clock edges so "Speed" is twice that. Speed is not Frequency when working the numbers of DDR. Let's take this as NBD (no big deal) since it's an area that you only get into when deep diving into PC design.
And that's cheating since we are comparing the mobile 1050 Ti and it wipes out the K600. The K600 is just that dated. Nice card but very dated. As to CAD use be sure to google if you need to do something to get the most out of it with your CAD software.
As to keeping the K600, it's so much slower that after you fit both you'll wonder why you did that.
As to your questions.
In answer to your workstation question. Given your use of uTorrent I can't guess why that is required. What you have is nice enough once you dump torrenting and clean up your PC with a fresh HDD or better yet a new SSD. That alone will be a big upgrade for cheap. You have some untapped CPU performance by installing a single stick of RAM. Install the second stick to get dual channel working. Get the same make and model of that RAM. These small changes and maybe a full wipe of the OS and reinstall since we can't be sure what malware and trojans are installed should result in a very current workstation.
Here's my reading of that report.
The GPU is very warm at 85C. That's quite warm for what is going on. 85C is very high and leaving it at such a high temperature results in aging and other issues. Try the usual canned air cleaning, make sure the fans work like new on the GPU. Be sure the airways around the GPU are not blocked.
The HDD ST2000DM001 is showing issues in values 01 and 07. Also BB, BC,C5 and C6. This drive should retired to some other duty. It's not failed but would cause a number of problems in a Windows PC.
That info doesn't seem to give us a cause. Try adding more detail.
If they are using a VPN you usually get the TZ of where they appear according to the VPN. There's nothing wrong about that which is why my view is to let them set the TZ in their profile.
But if you insist, then use this call: Intl.DateTimeFormat().resolvedOptions().timeZone
Think about how users get to the Internet today. You can't count on their location being accurate since they could be using a VPN, Tor or another system. Fix? Just add their timezone to their user profile.
@T. This is why, and mind you this is how I'd code it, flip the design to where the outer loop is what percentage of the line to draw with calls inside the loop for the actual draw. This is a classic design I used way back when on other than web pages. It's old, so old.
Your code as it stands does its work on one border at a time. So you have to upend the whole design and think about the animation loop to be not one border at a time but work on all borders inside a single loop.
So how to do that? I'm thinking that the loop would be from say 0 (zero) to 100% and inside that loop would be your draw commands.
In Psuedo code.
for i = 0 to 100 percent
draw top border (just the percent of the border math goes here)
draw bottom border (just the percent of the border math goes here)
draw left border (just the percent of the border math goes here)
draw right border (just the percent of the border math goes here)
next i
If it seems sluggish you can add a step to the for loop to move in 2 percent steps rather than one.
XKCD covers this as well -> https://xkcd.com/869/
Make it mobile friendly and avoid making versions for desktop, mobile, iPads and such. You'll go mad trying to keep it in sync and working.
Check out the link I gave and a few articles. The scripts for 9gag like sites is out there. The money has everything to do with getting a site to that scale and reach.
I see you added some example SQL query but you asked "just like 9Gag." To which you can get one of those scripts and then focus on promotion, hosting the millions of posts and the team you need to moderate and monetize.
I think the how involves mostly funding. Why do I think this? https://www.google.com/search?q=How+to+create+a+9gag+website
So the problem is mostly funding. It can't be a coding issue.
It appears as if you want folk to write your code and functions. That's pretty rare. But on topic about your new item 1, it can be simple or complicated.
Simple: Mute all playing items. Too many examples at https://www.google.com/search?q=HTML5+MUTE+SOUND+BUTTON
I worry here you are asking everyone to code this for you. This is usually done with you go with a For Hire type post with a well done RFQ and a price. If you are asking for code, that usually ends badly. Almost all members are to help you learn or to help you past a bad bug. Since muting and such in HTML5 is rather well done I worry you just want code.
I revived your post but I still don't see any need for those libraries. HTML5 and Javascript seem to do what you ask.
Your revived post is full of code and such but you need to really nail what the problem is. That is, call out what line of code fails, what the error message is and really reduce it to the smallest possible example. I doubt anyone will install Greensock just to try it out. Maybe but I would not count on it.
Read "Composing a good question" at https://www.daniweb.com/programming/threads/435023/read-this-before-posting-a-question
I read your posts and wonder why not go with HTML5 and javascript instead?
Your reply may have revealed your true question. Such as how to encrypt. Using the TPM would be a strange idea since what you encrypt there should not be usable on your other machines. How to decrypt stuff with a TPM.
-> I'm going to advise you forget TPM and investigate other encryptions. If you post an unclear question, that is, the question that lead to this question, then you have folk guessing what lead you to this idea. The TPM ON ANDROID (most mobile platforms) should show you that's a dead zone. If you insist, sure, but you will be very much on an one person raft far out at sea without support.
Too vague. Besides you can google TPM ON ANDROID to see a big void. It wasn't called for either. No reason to do this?
@OP. Put such up on a web site with before and after so we can see what's going on. Reading your code is one thing but I don't see what's wrong yet. Much if not all that I've read from you sounds like you are chasing The Holy Grail where the site is perfect across all devices. And again I've yet to find such a site. Most web masters only have so much time and head for usable RWD rather than perfection.
I had this old app that cut off the last row of pixels on a mobile screen. Given it was quite clear what was on the screen I didn't fix it due to budget and time. Years later they came up with the budget and that was spent talking about how many pixels were on the screen (only 300x300!) and how we could address the missing line of pixels. Seemed odd to me to fix something like this but hey, a thousand bucks is a thousand bucks.
@t, Aha, the holy grail to find a way to accomodate all devices PLUS accuracy. Have you seen such working yet? I haven't. At the office we had a test setup with Android running Chrome from a tiny 3x3 inch screen all the way up to a 21.5 inch "tablet." I never saw a single site handle that setup. And now you want "accurate." What I did see was it was usable on sites the used RWB. I think the web masters had done quite well at that point.
And all the displays were a little different. But it worked. Now imagine a person that wanted an exact (accurate) layout and fonts across thes 6 or more screen and resolutions. They have their work cut out for them. I don't agree this is broken in normalize.css.
Typography is (from the web).
The art or procedure of arranging type or processing data and printing from it.
As such you may have to describe in detail what's not to your liking. Color, spacing, texture?
OK, here's a reading of that report.
Overall it looks like the usual hot PC. Too hot and it reboots.
That's a report from 2011. In fact it's the one shown as an example at
https://www.piriform.com/docs/speccy/using-speccy/publishing-a-speccy-profile-to-the-web
Are you sure you want my advice on what to do with a 1GB RAM PC running on a Celeron?
@Z. No report?
Read an example where we used the Web Speccy reports and it looks like it is fixed at https://www.cnet.com/forums/discussions/graphics-crash-while-idle-leading-to-system-lock/
I am not writing that this discussion applies to your issues but without the Web Speccy we can't see under the hood.
I'll be back tomorrow. There are those that fear so much and you can't help them.
As to will they get into your PC? Only if you do something strange such as install remote control apps and such.
There is no guarantees about this but I will share it's the method we use on the CNET forums. If folk don't want to work with you, you send them to repair counters.
There are risks by posting in any forum. Folk use facebook in spite fo the warnings. So it's up to you.
If you feel it's too much risk, get repair estimates at the usual PC repair shop. No offense meant but it's like showing up at a car repair shop and you have it under a tarp and won't tell what it is or let the mechanics see the beast.
Your choice. If you leave it anywhere else, just tell me where to find it.
@Z. I'd love to help more but without the Web Speccy report ( read https://www.piriform.com/docs/speccy/using-speccy/publishing-a-speccy-profile-to-the-web ) I am left with only what we have here and any guess would be just that.
@Z, sometimes. But just because I can see, say a high temp it could be debated if I found the source. That is, the report could show a high CPU temp but may not reveal if it's the fan, heatsink compound cracked or something else.
The Web Speccy is one of the best tools I've found to dive into PC hardware issues today. Takes some practise to use but worth reading.
Thanks for the report back. I generally like to gather more info before I hand out possible fixes. Just that engineer side of me.
The Speccy report will have the temperatures as well as other health items that may let us head off future issues.
Example: I continue to run into a lot of HDDs with excessive values in S.M.A.R.T. values 01 and 07. This is a sign the drive has begun to fail and causes all sorts of issues from slow PCs to BSODs.
Best of luck.
