I understand where you are coming from but if there were more of a call for them hardware manufacturers might start making them. But people have never really thought about. I am not saying it solves lots of problems but it might be a really good step in the right direction. you never know.
the best thing is ,signup yourself with 8-10 ids and start talking to yourself,you will get fun yourself and other will thing forum is active and sign in and start contest from the first and and post yourself with some ids "wow i got paid thanks admin" people will love it. i did the same.
Yeah I have done this before it's quite fun. I haven't tried the money thing though.
Is it worth it? You know what microsoft are doing with XP users now with the genuine advantage service.. well its only my opinion but I think they will be harsher with vista.
Plus.. The OS is the most important thing on your pc so if that goes wrong because you have a dodgy copy?
It isn't to slow really. Once the aps have loaded they are quick as any other program.
As for vishesh's comment - I find fireworks quite obstructive (for want of a better word) because I don't feel as free to do whatever I want with it as I do in ps. But that's probably because I don't use it very often at all.
BTW, Adobe have got a beta testing thing for fireworks 9 at the moment.
I understand why you say that but if you design the site well and intend it to have ads on it from the beginning then have more than that really doesn't effect your sites look or usability.
For example take a look at the page you are viewing now, how many adsense ads does it have? Do they get in the way?
I can see why you like it. I just don't think it is as good as vb and ipb. But I suppose that is personal opinion. But vanilla is very clean. My main problem with it is that all the info seems to just be cluttered together. But each to his own.
I am sure on ms website it has vista on for $250 for ultimate upgrade? I hope it isn't much more expensive in the uk. BTW. Why would you buy it from PC world, have some pride!!!
I agree title tag and the point made above about is very true, if your title is something that someone is looking for then that will bring them straight to your site. That has only happened to me a few times where I have searched for something and it has come up in the exact same words in someones title. Of course I clicked on it instantly.
Google has always provided the best results for me over any other engine. I'm a frequent Google toolbar user as well, so I don't even remember the last time I typed the URL of a search engine into my address bar.

I also use places like ASK or Yahoo if i can't find what I want on google because like has already been said they bring up irrelevant crap and sometimes that is exactly what i want.
That is a good idea and i didn't ever think of that. I am pretty sure Bots would see the text because they aren't taking picture of the screen they are looking at your html files so if you have the text there somewhere then I am sure search engines will find out about it.
