In this tutorial you will learn how to turn your images into something more like a real photograph by simply adding a white frame to them. What’s more, the tutorial is easy enough for those new to Photoshop to be able to create something impressive, and create it quickly.

First things first though, in Photoshop click file>new to create a new image. This should have a transparent background and be 500*500px.

If I were you I would keep sending them to every body who shows any interest every week and I would keep sending them to everyone else on a monthly or quarterly basis because it could take two, three or even four emails before someone actually bothers to read it.

Opera is really nice actually and has some good widgets but it has some features that are just too distracting and it is slow.

What are the real uses of a homeserver anyway. You may as well just use an old pc with a big hard disk and some more RAM. It works for me. I don't think you need proper windows server software for a home server, its just a waste of money.

I think it is either down to laziness or ignorance. I think we should have custom error messages if you have the ability to, because on some servers you can't. I own a server that hosts multiple domains and I am pretty sure I can't have custom 404.

I have noticed recently that there are some error pages that are standard but just with some ads on them.

On a 404 page I would include

• A Message that says that the page can't be found.
• A logo.
• A bit of information about your site.
• A big link to the homepage.
• A Search for your site.
• A small link back to google.

I think those would create a good user experience. But just on a very simple but clean page.

BTW, the daniweb 404 page is very well done, you could include a search though, or a list of the forum categories.

I have never come accross this... How did you actually notice that? Can this not be done with pure css using the fixed selector in the position property?

You then need to set each images height and width. You also need to set the border, margin of all of your content to 0 if you don't want any. You may want to check your html to make sure there is no formatting in it.

You may need to set all the margins and padding and borders of the main content as well. This may help.

You may want to set the height of all of your image containers. I am not sure whether it will fix it but its worth a try.

When i look at your site in ff I can't see any problems, unless you want your text to be touching your images. I have attached as screen shot (poor quality but you get the point) of what your site looks like in the latest version of ff. But as vishesh said you could do something like

Also on plexus2007 you need to decrease the width of the header circle images or take one away because they are too wide for the rest of your content.

No, it is a fully new operating system. However, just like you can upgrade win 98 to xp with no formatting you can do this with vista. But it is definately a brand spanking new os.

Apart from media center you don't need anything, however you may want to purchase the following items:

• Media Center Remote
• Tv Tuner Card
• Look into what specs you should have on a mc pc.

2. When I got my computer it came with SiS Utility tray...is that really neceassary for my computer?

That is not vital for your system to run

You may want to back up your important data. Do some virus and adware scans and make sure your pc is running smoothly before upgrading.

You need to take your time and restart your pc when it says. Do not do it in a rush. Other than that there is nothing else to ad but Good Luck

You can see on a different thread, that i think you posted in that many of us look at an advertisement free internet thanks to adblock with ff. Knowing this community they are all very clever so I don't think they will fall for that one. Maybe something like an advertisement of their own website on the forum. Just an idea. Or maybe access to a special chat service...
