Goto START/RUN and enter: sfc/scannow (Restore all deleted files you can (If you dont know which ones are needed))

Hmm what OS are you on??

If your on Vista you might have to DISBLE UAC (I recently read of someone else having a similar issue)

UAC is blocking 'ACTIVE X' (Which is needed to load the embedded applet (Especially if it uses WMP))

Its a search aggregator and it searches many engines for you.
