Well, i wanted to purchase an ipad 2 because i have already ipad. After hearing what happygeek said and doing some research, i found out that ipad 2 is not so impressive after all, it only have a front and back camera, the , the smart cover is impressive but so is the speed since is has an A5 duo core chip. The battery still the same. ALthough i am not very impressed with the ipad2 i may considering buying it just to show my support to apple. Every time a new ipad come out it will be smaller in size, wonder how small will an ipad 10 be, 2cm thin. Haha:P

Well since you can't login to your homepage as you say it can't go beyond the bluescreen there is not much help i can offer. Do you have another computer, if yes. Good, use the other computer and go to the apple website. Here it is

The disk cost very cheap and is the latest version of the mac osx platform.Go and reinstall the disk, you should kno if not i can coach you on that. The disk you can order from the nearest apple country. It will delivered depends on how far the location is. I agreed with hercx. Since you went to this utility and try repair and verify disk permission it seems ok. The problem is you can't unmount it. First are you an administrator or root user. Second the disk 10.4.6 is an old version try a newer version. And why are you trying to install osx on an ibook. Do you know what is an ibook. Do not replace your hard drive first.

well, i am one of the few kind souls that has nothing better to do than to start a new thread like this. recently in the forum networking, i have come across many poster who can't connect to the internet becaise of firewall blocking the connection. Not all case are related to firewall. I just want to raise awareness that firewall setting may have blocked connection like wireless, bluetooth or file sharing. Some may consider to disable their firewall so that they can connect to the internet while doing this can solved your problem, firewall is also an important tool that can help minimise the risk of having malware or virus in your computer, it can help to reduce email spamming. Most computer have firewall preinstalled on it while in rare cases it don't hav. You may want to go and download it for free on the internet. Firewall have different settings, some setting blocked all connection including wireless and bluetooth while some settings only blocked a few stuff maybe malware and email spamming so that allows you to connect to internet. Choose the right settings, choose settings that allow you to connect to internet and also at the same time prevent malware from happening to often. If you had any problems post in this thread and i will answer your queries. The bottom is the link for free firewall download.

Weird problem what has a radio going to do with all this. Did you try at your girlfriend house, bring the radio along and turn it on while connecting to your girlfriend wireless. If your compter freeze it has to do with your radio problem although i am not sure what cause it.

Some laptops have a button at the side of the laptop, to on just press the button. Mainly what i post is the repetitive version of what kraai has posted.
