We have a HP Pavillion computer with a non pavillion hard drive (our first hard drive burned and crashed). We have WinMe on it and tons of other stuff we have acquired. I want to know how to erase the hard drive and start fresh.

More problems on my end.... Computer boots fine but it has error msg... Illegal Operation... WINHDD.. The computer will continue along just fine, but what is WINHDD? I have looked on Google and Microsoft to see if they had anything... but nothing came up. Help here?
