One of my clients has links from their website to the Linkedin profiles of their execs as well as the Linkedin Company Page. Additionally, each of the exec's linkedin profiles list the corporate URL as does the Linkedin Company Page. My question is this, if a company has this type of setup will they derive any SEO or PageRank benefit from all of the people who are linked to their execs profiles on Linkedin?

Short answer: do not count on a big PageRank gain from many people linking to an execs LinkedIn profile. In 's scenario the realistic upside is improved discovery and referral traffic, plus stronger brand/author signals in search results — the kind of benefit described — rather than reliable, large-scale link equity flowing from those profiles into the corporate site.

Why this is so: social networks change how they expose outbound links (rel attributes, JS handling, internal linking and spam controls), so direct "link juice" is often limited or unpredictable. Even if an exec profile accumulates inbound links inside LinkedIn, the company URL on that profile is a single outbound link and any value reaching it is diluted by LinkedIn's site structure and policies. Google also treats social-profile links differently from editorial backlinks on independent sites, so third-party editorial links remain far more valuable for SEO.

Practical steps to test and improve results: use your browser inspector to check the profile link's rel attribute; review Google Search Console's Links report for LinkedIn referrals; add UTM parameters to the corporate URL in profiles to measure referral traffic; make sure exec profiles use the canonical company URL (https, no redirects). For SEO lift, focus on earning editorial links and high-quality mentions outside social platforms rather than trying to engineer page-rank through mass LinkedIn linking. , this is why many SEOs report traffic gains from social but see weak direct PageRank effects.

Though I don't have direct experience in this, I have known others who have done this. Their results were that their websites benefited in increase traffic and SEO. I dont know about the PageRank. I would predict it will due to LinkedIn's high PageRank.

I would imagine Linkedin's high page rank would help but I am wondering about any benefit from a profile having a large quantity of other profiles linked to it?

no any experience still
