now tell us what chip it is ,is it for onboard video ,on board sound ,RAM, you may be able to use a addin card to do what the chip is doing

ohh....why are you so sure that particular chip is the culprit on your mobo?
better buy a new mobo becasue normally if a mobo has been repaired or a component has been removed and a new component has been replaced.. reliability is the problem.. mobo might be unstable..
