I am upgrading after a few years, i have bought a AMD Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition AM3 Processor, ASUS M4A785TD-V EVO Socket AM3 DDR3 Motherboard and am going to run windows 7. As you can tell from the motherboard i am quite happy not to be running the latest gear although i do want something i can play games on with out lag or hassle and would also like it to be able to handle HD and Blu-ray at the moment i am running an nvidia 9600gt but obviously i will be going radeon/ATI route for the crossfire stuff.
Also some sound advice would be appreciated, am currently running audigy pro, what should i upgrade this to?
