From the first .NET Framework 1.1 that I downloaded, through .NET Framework 2.0, and recently I've downloaded 3, my question is can I delete 1.1 & 2? In my add/remove in the control panel...it appears 1.1 & 2 are still installed. Doe's 3 stand alone, or doe's it require
1.1 & 2 to work properly?
Appreciate any info on this.

i just un-installed NET Framework 2.0,sp1 and computer is still working .
actuall i will need to reinstall it to stop getting a net framework 2.0 security update that will not install ,so i guess it best left alone .
