Having an issue setting process affinity in Windows XP. Giving an error "The operation could not be completed. Access Denied" "Unable to Access or Set Process Affinity".

I am running a Windows XP system with an Intel Core 2 Duo processor with 2gb of memory and was wanting to set up my Spyware and AV processes on the second core so they do not interfere with the programs I may be running at the time by chewing up CPU resources.

I am assuming this is appropriate usage of a second core since those programs running in the background are constantly on watch for any viruses or spyware or even their own updates. If not pls let me know. If it is appropriate pls lemme know what I need to do to gain access to be able to set them up on the second core and run them there.

Thx
