Has anyone experienced Media Edition yet? I'm looking to install a newer operating system on a new computer. I'm torn between XP Pro and possibly Media Edition. This computer will be used mainly for Music, videos, some office applications and most surely connected to the home stereo for using Otsjuke for music playback. I'd also like to use a nice video card for TV out to use the TV as a monitor. I'm toying with the idea of wireless keyboard and mouse to be able to use the computer in the family room. Any ideas?

Given the description you've provided, Media Center might be a good choice, if you can find it retail. Basically, all Media Center is is XP Pro, without Group Policy and the ability to log into a Domain. So, I'd personally spring for Media Center, and have the (mostly) best of both worlds.
