I'm working on a friend's computer. It's a 1 gig processor with 128 megs of RAM.
Basically he's screwed it up, so I reformatted and installed 2000 Pro on it again. I can install Norton on it and everything is fine, but afterword when I try to install MS Office XP it freaks and begins looping on boot. At one point the same software was on his machine and working fine. I've reloaded about three times and come up with the same problem. I cannot, for the life of me, figure out if I'm doing anything wrong. Any ideas appreciated.
