They just replaced my work computer with a new one.

Every time I click on a URL link in an email I received in Outlook 2003, I get this error message.

"This operation has been canceled due to restrictions in effect on this computer. Please contact your system administrator."

The problem is that the system administrators can't figure out what is causing this either. My computer is the only one in the LAN which is doing this. They don't know where in Outlook the setting for this is.

There is one problem with the solutions given.

Not only do I NOT want IE to be my default browser, I don't even want it to start.

Every time IE starts, it wipes out some settings I need for some third party software to run correctly, and it tqkes the system admin half an hour to re-enter all of those settings.

Sorry it wasn't any help.

What browser are you using, hopefully a similary solution is available for that.
