What exactly happens when we click refresh or (F5) in windows?

Probably nothing...
I kid, if you are in a folder and click F5 it will ask the SO to refresh the view in that folder, meaning that the folder will reflect the current state of the file system, it's merely an UI thing. At least that's what makes sense to me. Please do correct if I'm wrong.
