im trying again, im not sure if there are many ppl that see these, but i am desperate, i had probs, with windows updating, i solved this by re-registering files for the background intelligent transfur service, then was able to d/l and install windows updates, but, something happened, i wish i knew what, but i obviously screwed something up , now i can download anything, from any source, but, the file reaches its destination, then quickly disappears, never to be seen again, if i d/l open, the d/l box disappears, wtf,?, help please? :(

im running windows firewall, im gonna disable it, see if theres any difference, but i think im doomed on this 1 :cry:
