Really confused here. I'm running Firefox in XP and recently I started getting this error. When I boot up my machine, everything is great for about 10 minutes. Then suddenly, everypage I try to open, whether I follow a link or phsyically type in an address leads to the exact same conclusion, "Connection Timed Out". At that point, the only thing I can do is to reboot my machine. Could this be a virus? I have run Webroot Spy Sweeper and Registry Cleaner to no avail. Anyone with any insight? I truly appreciate your time, I'm desperate and frustrated.

Try AVG Anti-virus and Microsoft Anti-spyware.
Could it be a sudden fall in quality of service by your ISP?

Thanks for the advice, I will try AVG and Microsoft. I'm still connected at 54Mbps and my other machine on the network runs fine. I appreciate you taking the time to help me.
