My computer freezes for 2-10 seconds and then goes back to normal. It's happened ever since I got it. It will completely freeze whatever I'm doing; this is extremely annoying in games or on the web. I really need a solution to this but I can't get a new hard drive. Does anybody know how to fix this through the computer without installing any new hardware?

I would agree and since I've had the same issue and did as Knsljo suggested (just yesterday)...it resolved my problem.
