I have windows xp pro and everytime I boot up the improperly shut down screen comes on after bois. This is a recent development from my fiddeling with a slave HD. I start in windows normally and everything works perfectly, Master and slave HD, cdrw, A: drive. I restored back 2 days with no results. Is there a reason for this. Can I get it to bypass the prompt.

I assume you have the jumpers on the drives set to master and slave ,the master may have to be set master with slave , the slave just slave .usually this info is on …
