Hi Everyone , ive just brought Flight Sim X for my dad on the back of the package it says , 32mb min graphics card ! He has a Sony Vaio with a ATI X600 and its so laggy and ideas i maybe able to try or does it just need a monster card to play ?

By minimum, they mean able to operate (which includes lagginess). However, the 'optimal' size far exceeds that.
Have you tried lowering all the video settings to the lowest possible settings in teh game?
