pls how can i share one modem btw 2 systems.

The easiest approach is to connect the modem to a router, then plug the 2 or more systems into the router. This of course depends on the type of modem that you have.

This is easy to do with modems that connect to DSL since the modem have an ethernet connection that can be plugged into consumer based routers. If you have an older 56k modem that connects to a standard telephone line, the router would have to an interface that would be able to plug into the modem.

Otherwise, an alternate method is to plug one Windows computer into the modem and use Internet Connection Sharing (ICS) by plugging in the second computer via wired ethernet into the first computer that has the modem connection.
