Intel Active Monitor comes with the processor and board you specified ... are the stats n figures from that software ?? If not use it and then tell the stats again. It should be found on Intel's site.

Recently I bought an intel board D915GAV with 3 GHz processor ... and it keeps itself on 55 degrees celcius normally.

Hey kc0arf ! can you point out the registry hive which changes the maximum users from 10 to our choice.

Did you cancel the writing process sometime ?? Put in another disc and then try to write the files on the other disc... I do come up with these situations and the cd becomes unusable.

hehe ... yes the maximum number of users allowed is 10. Cant find out how to increase it on a workgroup ... wait for the experts to respond.

You can change the maximum number of users by --> going to tools --> folder options --> view --> and unchecking use simple file sharing .... now you can right click the folder you wanted to share .... click the sharing tab and set the user limit to maximum allowed.

Here's the show desktop icon. Extract it to c:\documents and settings\username\application data\microsoft\internet explorer\quick launch ..

I think you've been hijacked .... post your hijackthis log in spyware and nasties forum and you'll get an appropriate response.

Clear your temp internet files and try again.

Download LSPFix and remove aklsp.dll

Recycle Bin

The recycle bin is always located on the desktop ... by default it is in the lower right corner of the desktop. If you dont find it, you can just hit delete to delete a selected item.

Choose Start, Run, regedit. Locate and select the key:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\ Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Control Panel

In the right hand pane, right-click underneath any entries you see there and choose New, DWORD value. Name it Homepage. Select the entry, right-click it and choose Modify. Enter a value of 1

This will lock your homepage to whatever you changed last time.... but you have spyware on your system ... run an antispyware program.

In hijackthis ... check the following entries

I think some of your hardware is not properly installed ... remove any modems or lan cards or other hardware and then start your pc ... does the same error occur again ??? can you give us a glimpse of the error you get ?

Ahhh ... you cant solve a dual boot problem with a dual thread. ...

Right Click My Computer -- Properties -- Advanced --- click on start up and recovery oprtions -- choose your default operating system .. and make the time to display operating system options less than 30.

hehe ... don have anything special about my computer but the accessories .. yes the accessories are interesting .... half a dozen tea cups with two dozen wires in some two feet area .... I just have to make my own space for sitting ... and if I sit somewhere unknown in the room ... the cracking noise comes out with a broken cd .. lol. And I have beside me half the utencils of my kitchen :D. Nothing more special than that.

What kind of project do you want to do ... a web app or a stand alone desktop app ... or some sort of mobile app development ?? and to what level you can go ....

if you are using win 2000 or win xp .. you can repair the windows. You can also start your windows with last known good configuration.

thats all true ... I've heard about a java operating system too that is coming by the mid of 2005 ... it is really fast .... more and more people feel java a very easy language to learn ... like me ... I learned c++ first and then java ... and now I only program in java .... or some little programming that is system dependent ... I do it in c++.
