It really depends on the element as well as elements around it. Can you post the code or at least some of it so somebody can try debug it?

sillyboy 43 Practically a Master Poster

still has nothing to do with python

sillyboy 43 Practically a Master Poster

why is this in the python forum?

sillyboy 43 Practically a Master Poster

write to a temp file?

sillyboy 43 Practically a Master Poster

../ means "up one directory". My suspicion is that during your download process it would have arranged your files in such a way that the images were in the parent directory of the html. Just look on your file structure and make sure the images are there, if not move the images or change the links.

sillyboy 43 Practically a Master Poster

what is a java report? depending on what kind of report you are trying to generate the implementation will be vastly different.

sillyboy 43 Practically a Master Poster

I highly doubt he wants your code to match his, the chance of code being identical is usually rare and should raise concerns of plagarism. Anyway, have you got any further?

sillyboy 43 Practically a Master Poster

Is this a programming course or a business course? If it is a programming course, I think "exactly like that" is taking him too literally, as learning looping/control is much better than trying to mimick sums (in less efficient ways). If it is a business course (or something other than programming), you need to refine your code to use a sequence, you need to take elements up to "i" not just "i". good luck

sillyboy 43 Practically a Master Poster

What exactly are you doing? If you do not have a JDK installed with correct configuration there is no way your box will know about "javac" it isn't something computers come with by default.

sillyboy 43 Practically a Master Poster

if you've installed anything new on the laptop recently, remove it, try again. If you have the windows cd you could also try booting from it and trying the repair options. As a last resort try get the data off and look at formatting.

sillyboy 43 Practically a Master Poster

I am getting a little confused here, rad is not an application server so when you say runtime, have you deployed this to a server (e.g. WAS)?

If this is the case your references within the EAR are not setting the classpath for that particular jar/class correctly. You should find this and fix this, but as a quick fix you should be able to simply add the jar into your profile's lib directory (for WAS). The server needs to be restarted to pick up any classloading changes.

sillyboy 43 Practically a Master Poster
sum(sequence)

you are not giving it a sequence

sillyboy 43 Practically a Master Poster

oh, your problem is after your app is deployed? so not a RAD problem but WAS? It will be different resolutions depending on your environment.

sillyboy 43 Practically a Master Poster

I assume this is because WSAD 5.1 has the jar as a plugin or something and automatically lets you use it for your project. If you know the jar and have the jar, simply add it to your project library as an external jar (probably the easiest method).

sillyboy 43 Practically a Master Poster

hahaha this is a really unfortunate error:

while (!stop);{

notice the semicolon (hence an infinite loop of empty statement)

sillyboy 43 Practically a Master Poster

make sure it has write permissions. is you do something like ls -al, it should have a "w" next to your user group.

sillyboy 43 Practically a Master Poster

have you authenticated yourself before using ftp?

"failed to open stream: FTP server reports 530 Login authentication failed"

sillyboy 43 Practically a Master Poster

Usually xp, sometime vista. Don't worry about me though, I have hi-jacked this thread unintentionally...

sillyboy 43 Practically a Master Poster

write it yourself, at least show some effort and you will get better help.

sillyboy 43 Practically a Master Poster

I used to have a similar issue with usb, but that was because of the bus power limit. If you don't have anything plugged in, I would think it is something else though...

sillyboy 43 Practically a Master Poster

yeah... well with mine I can't format it as NTFS, don't know why, don't really care. I bought a cheap product, and got what I paid for, perhaps that will solve the issue for the other guys though.

what makes you think there is such a thing as document.fontFamily?
as I said, make sure you are using up-to-date and correct properties.

sillyboy 43 Practically a Master Poster

well since background works, why not use the same location.href? You are also making use of deprecated code, you might want to rethink how you are changing the properties.

sillyboy 43 Practically a Master Poster

first issue sounds really strange, the system out doesn't print pass?
with the second, are you importing Employee?

sillyboy 43 Practically a Master Poster

no, you have initialised the HttpServletRequest as null, how would it contain a parameter?

sillyboy 43 Practically a Master Poster

If you buy cheap flash drives, well... they are cheap. I also have a 8gb flash, but it corrupts large files (e.g. video).

sillyboy 43 Practically a Master Poster

Formatting the player and it removing essential files seems a little silly, but a possibility. It may also be an encoding issue, maybe you need to encode the audio as something other than mp3.

sillyboy 43 Practically a Master Poster

You need to use code tags, and you know it isn't possible to use JavaScript alone to "chat" with somebody else. How is your php implemented?

sillyboy 43 Practically a Master Poster

Perhaps you are getting confused... what exactly are you trying to do?

sillyboy 43 Practically a Master Poster

And you can't get access to a plug-in keyboard?

If the boot manager is any good, I would think it would have a timeout setting (so default to a certain OS).

sillyboy 43 Practically a Master Poster

I am not sure you will find a specific article relating md5 to a java GUI, but it isn't really different to just md5 in a command-line environment. If you can get your checksums generating, just attach it to a GUI, by events or whatever your requirement may be.

sillyboy 43 Practically a Master Poster

How many of the ports are you using? You may be overloading the bus if you have too many devices plugged in.

sillyboy 43 Practically a Master Poster

The easiest solution would be to get access to a PS/2 or USB keyboard and use that. If you don't use the Ubuntu CD, won't it auto-boot into windows? (unless you have already installed it)

sillyboy 43 Practically a Master Poster

Do you have a proxy server?

sillyboy 43 Practically a Master Poster

Try different cds, is it just that cd that is unreadable?

sillyboy 43 Practically a Master Poster

design / implementation are quite different. if you create a design, it is through 1 size, so it won't look different to different users, whereas with the implementation everybody has different browsers and resolutions. with the actual implementation, you need to try accomodate various requirements of your target audience. I won't say these values are dictacted by what you do in photoshop.

sillyboy 43 Practically a Master Poster

lol yeah, if you have something like tail, monitor the log file, and replicate the error.

sillyboy 43 Practically a Master Poster

How far into the boot sequence do you get?

sillyboy 43 Practically a Master Poster

are you downloading torrents or something? (i.e. somthing your router may try and block)

sillyboy 43 Practically a Master Poster

Yeh, they are all on the same network so you can share files. Just enable sharing on the respective computers.

sillyboy 43 Practically a Master Poster

lol, if the heatsink spins once, something is wrong (I assume that was just a typo though).

sillyboy 43 Practically a Master Poster

fans started but made different noise as though no load on them

Have you checked the CPU?

sillyboy 43 Practically a Master Poster

The drive light on the computer does not even blink once or even attempt to come on.

Sounds like a power supply to me. You are not getting anything at all on the monitor are you?

sillyboy 43 Practically a Master Poster

How about you at least try?

sillyboy 43 Practically a Master Poster

http://www.w3schools.com/Flash/default.asp

To be honest, it would be a lot easier / faster just looking yourself.

sillyboy 43 Practically a Master Poster

I suggest trying google as the fastest option, if I get some time later on I will take a look for you though.

sillyboy 43 Practically a Master Poster

have you declared "stmt" anywhere?

JSP "should" be used for the interface, and you should leave the data retrieval, entry etc... to java services, but for a school project I really wouldn't worry about it.
