Is it worth going out and using a program like JCreator or something like that compared to good-old notepad? They all should compile the same code, no? Ian

[quote="cscgal"]Illegal software isn't really supported at this forum for legal reasons. I have heard that warez versions of WindowsXP have a problem with Service Pack 2 or something along those lines. Other than that, I'm not a fan of warez in general although I'm sure many other people beg to …

It would be best if you did a clean install...back up your documents and such, run FDISK, format the drive, and then install 2000, although, XP is probably a better choice. Ian

Definately take a look at the Flash MX Visual QuickStart guide. I can't remember the author's name, but its a really simple, easy, and informative guide to FMX...I use it :-P

Hi. I'm in a Java class at harvard, and they gave us this assignment to create a function moveKiloMile(); , which moves an on-screen robot 1000 units. We can declare the function by using a function moveMile(); , which moves the robot 8 units. Below is the code that I …

I remember seeing a segment on this on TechTV a while ago...but I managed to forget. I know that there is a service in 2k and .net that enables or disables digital imaging (webcam, digi-cam, etc...)...anyone have a clue as to what the name of the service is?

It seems as if the AP Computer Science course next year is to be given in Java. Since I'm not really experianced with it, and I'd like to take the class, I figured I might as well start early and learn Java now. So, first, I'm wondering what sort of …

Yeah, I think FDisk would do the trick. Worse comes to worse, do a google search for what you want...there's bound to be SOMEONE who shares your problem...like me, as of a few months ago.

yeah. Windows seems to be all pissy about taking them out while "in use". It really doesn't matter that much since they're plug-and-play devices.

I'm running RC2 almost full-time now. I *LOVE* it...it hardly crashes, and supports just about everything except for some games, which is where XP Pro is used ;). You gotta love the built in Windows Media Server!!
